Question Intake wars

AEM and K&N seem to have the market for air intake kits. Although I like the idea of dual sizes of intake tubes (AEM), I like how the K&N plastic intake resists high temperatures. Anyone had experience with these? Any recommendations?

I'm not to familiar with the K & N type II, but the Aem v2 should be one of the best intakes for our cars.

I heard that the best intake for the s2000 is the mugen cold air intake

The Arc intake is all hype. If you want to spend a lot of money on a hot air intake, then go for it.
AEM v2 is a great intake, BUT there is a real risk of hydrolock....and before you say "yeah but you have to drive through a river to do that..." just look in the Carolinas forum or PM MyBad...he hydrolocked his engine from leaving his car out in the rain (puddle formed under the filter and the filter was soaked). For 4-5hp MAX, is it worh it?
Mugen is a good intake but you need the Alex air duct for it to work correctly and that involves cutting the bumper.

A good compromise is the Comptech...good design, nice increase in throttle response and great sound.
