Which intake would you prefer?

E-thug lecture LMAO A mechanic and a tuner are 2 completely different things. A tuner must know exactly how every aspect of a motor works.
Me personally, I've street tuned my H22 with S300 and DSM 450's. Effectively having a much broader power-band, obvious power increase, better part throttle pick up and 3mpg over the OEM computer. I guess I know nothing.
Pared with an EMS and a knowledgeable tuner, you will see gains from bolt on's. Unless the parts are 2 much like OEM to see gains. Part selection is key to any build.
With that being said, I'm done arguing

Hes right though with aem ems you can make decent gains with bolt-ons and even if you dont feel 25 whp its THERE.
IMO I would either go true cold air Like a V2 or FIPK. I have the FIPK on my car right now it sounds great and seems to add power. K&N also wont make a product if it doesn't make any power they will also stand behind there product (tech Support).
The PRM might sound sweet but it doesn't look like a finished product to me looks like some one added a cherry bomb muffler to there intake maybe if it was extended to the fender opening but not just sitting there.
PS comtech looks sweet and finished.
All of This is IMO

Its kind of hard to properly dyno an intake though. To prove it has gains, they should get a baseline with the OEM unit, then let it cool down, install the the new intake, get it back to normal operating temps like the baseline run, then see if it made power all in the same day. PRM has a dyno graph where they did gain a few whp, so people saying it doesnt gain anything is talking from their ass and havent tested it. So yeah, I had the OEM unit gutted with a AUT cooling plate, then had a K&N FIPK, and now have the PRM intake. The FIPK was an improvement over the OEM unit, but I feel no difference in power/throttle response between the FIPK and the PRM. I do like the sound of the PRM better, so i'm happy with it.
