I had the FIPK and changed it out for the PRM. I have no idea if there was a performance difference and dont care. The prm looked better to me, sounded better and was more rare.

Same here.
Went from the Fipk to the pwjdm. Wasn't sold on that, so I went PRM and won't look back.

How's PRM quality compare K&N? And do you guys remember piping size on both?

I'm pretty sure the piping size is the same with both of them, 3". I know my PRM one is b/c the other day I took out the horn on the end, and measured it since i'm thinking about extending it. I never did measure the FIPK but i'm sure its the same. I liked the K&N, but the tube felt and looked really cheap. I know it doesnt soak heat like an aluminum one would, but for some reason I didn't really like it. The filter housing of the PRM is made of some sort of plastic. I've seen people complain about this but idk why. I could use it as a bat and would probably have a hard time breaking the plastic apart. Both of them are good quality intakes, but I would still take my PRM over the FIPK anyday.

You can practically make it into one by hooking a duct to it, and running it to the grill of the front bumper.
