okay so ive got a 2003 S2000, put on a second hand invidia n1 dual exhaust today. the older style pipe that doesnt say invidia where it splits into a dual. still stock cat and header...and my god it drones like crazy. almost to the point where im going to pull it back off and go back to stock. dont have the silencers or anything for it. if i go to a test pipe will it help the horrible drone/cabin boom. i dont mind the extra volume of the exhaust but it doesnt sound good because of the drone. it actually seems quieter when it hits vtec. anyone have any experience with adding a test pipe after just having the catback on? will it help any?

 

Test pipe will help slightly. You bought the worst or one of the worst exhausts for drone. So only real option is A deal with it or B sell it and buy a higher quality exhaust. The newer invidia Q300 exhausts are much better!!

 

Yea the only reason I bought it was because it was a good deal. Il be ordering a test pipe soon and if that doesn't make it bearable then il probably buy a q300 or a megan
