Default Invidia N1 Dual

Hey all just recently got my self a 2000 Honda S2000 and I already love it! It came with an invidia test pipe and invidia N1 Dual exhaust. Where I live has a ton of cops and the N1 just seems to attract attention. Does anyone have any suggestions for a nice deep toned exhaust thats not as loud as the N1? Thanks

Some searching will turn up MANY posts on the topic.

I'm happy with my Q300. Even though it's also made be Invidia, it's a totally different system. In fact, when seen side-by-side, they don't seem to even share any parts. They build quality of the Q300 seems higher from what I've seen.

As far as sound, it's deep and can be loud (at WOT), but tames down nicely from cruising (minimal drone, especially compared to the N1).

N1 is one of the worst exhausts for drone on this car.

Q300 is much better and a good bang for the buck exhaust.

There are some nice 60mm dual exhausts availavle as well. Tanabe touring medallion is awesome as are the HKS dual and Apexi WS2 exhaust.

We often recommend the Q300 as well for people who think the N1 is too much. We call the Q300 the "gentleman's exhaust" for the same reasons Jdrum1 mentioned. It has a nice deep tone and produces minimal drone when not at WOT. Check out our website for great pricing on the Q300. We have them available with different tips (titanium, stainless) and single or dual exit.

Thanks for the help guys! Im most likely going with the Q300 because I have a invidia testpipe as well. Does testpipe make the car louder? ( I just got the car sorry about the noob questions)

Test pipe will definitely make the Q300 dual louder. It gets raspy when you let off the gas pedal...some like it, some don't.

I prefer it with the stock cat. Like Kevin said, it can get too raspy with a TP. Not hard to find a used cat if you want to try it.

Anyone who says the q300 is a tame exhuast is out of their minds, I have the q300 and it is incredibly loud and thats coming from a 19 year old..
If you want something with a good tone and not to loud the fujitsubo legalis R is a good choice!
