Default Invidia Q300

I bought and installed this exhaust yesterday. I bought it from Speed N Syles for 565 picked up not shipped. I was pretty happy with the price. I decided to go with the stainless tips instead of the titanium. I have never been a fan of the titanium look.
I had a hard time taking the stock exhaust off but once off it was breeze to put the q300 on.
I knew that this exhaust was going to be pretty quiet but i imagined it being a little bit louder. Hopefully i can get a test pipe soon and this will make a little bit more sound. I love the way the tips look and the way the exhaust looks from behind.
Overall I am happy with the price. This is the exhaust i have been wanting for a while. I was a little disappointed with the sound even though i knew before hand that it would be pretty quiet.

Any idea how much this exhaust weighs? I'm trying to shave a few pounds off my stock exhaust

^ Any exhaust is lighter than the stock exhaust, haha!

Yeah the Invidia q300 is almost like stock at idle and normal driving, but screams when you get on it. A test pipe will make it a little louder too.

you are not going to save that much weight with this exhaust. it is not heavy as stock but it is in no way light either.

Congrats on the exhaust dude! I was going to buy the Nvidia and decided to splurge on the Greddy SE Dual instead.

Are you guys serious that its quiet? I think its pretty loud, esp with the top up lol. Deep sounding between 2-4k. On the freeway, its pretty quiet though until you throttle it a little or get on it. I was wondering if I can get a silencer for it lol. Man.. I may getting old these days lol

^Just had my Q300 installed this week, I love it. I came from Skunk2, sitting in the car after it is installed, is night and day. There's almost no droning. This is definitely a daily driver's perfect exhaust.

Yess i agree its perfect for daily driving. I wanted a more quiet exhaust cuz i am only 19 and i dont need a bunch of tickets but i would have liked to it to be a little louder or maybe just a little more unique in its sound if that makes any sense.
I have one question....... Since i installed this exhaust a smell similar to burning plastic is coming from the pipes. Does the exhaust need time to break in?

Is it better to get an invidia test pipe with my invidia exhaust or does it really matter?
