My main concern is that they are going to be loud enough for the cops to notice me, when say, they are behind me. Normally they would just judge you by how fast you are going, but if your car screams attention, they may find "reasonable cause" haha I dont want tickets! do the Q300s sound like I'm racing when I'm just barely over the speed limit??
I have an Q300 dual exhaust on mine...very quiet if you don't go above 4000rpm. A few days ago I had a cop right behind me on the freeway exit...and as usual if you don't do anything stupid you will be fine. I accelerated normally (or even a little faster than normal...haha seeing he was behind me) and nothing happened...It's definitely one of the quieter if not the quietest aftermarket exhaust out there

What other exhausts are comparable to the Q300 that are known to be slightly louder?

If you hit 3500 under acceleration it puts out a raspy sound(which i love) and like said before, it isnt loud unless you are getting on it aka no bad drone. If you want loud get the test pipe. It is loud as shit under partial and full throttle.

How does the Invidia Q300 sound with a HFC? I heard it gets obnoxious, which leaves is frustrating for me because I thought I had my search narrowed down to the Q300. I wanted a nice sounding exhaust that wasn't a cop magnet and had potential for Flashpro tuning. Now I don't know what exhaust is left.

I got q300 dual 70mm + berk HFC 70mm. Had it installed in my car for about 2 months now. Loving every bit of it 
Now one thing that bothers me a little bit is when under partial throttle right at 3k during acceleration it drones. But once you pass 3k drone is completely gone. It's got stock like idle, not too loud when light on gas, but be ware of orgasm when you punch it
