Invidia Q300 vs Js racing
I have looked around and here in AUS the stainless steel js racing 70rs dual tips are around 1500 which is roughly the same as the invidia q300 around 1300, i heard dual doesnt make as much power but it looks pretty awkward with a single tip, but if single does make that much of a difference, might as well go single

for $1300 I wound't even consider the invidia q300, not because it isn't a quality product but that is an insane price
I understand getting imported stuff to australia will always carry a premium import tax; considering those 2, it would be a no brainer for the J's Racing.
As far as power goes gernby did a test and found that a single 70mm exhaust was about as powerful as his (at the time stock dual w/ magna flow mufflers):

I will say this, if you get a nice 70mm single the exhaust note will be nice not, obtrusive, and you will gain throttle response and lose probably 30 lbs of dead weight.
If your budget is $1500 tops consider these other options:
T1R 70r-em Single from Evasive Motorsports
T1R 70r dual Sparrow
Milltek Single 70mm
Milltek Dual 70mm

The Q300 is brutally noisy at cruising speeds. Inside the car you'll get headaches from the drone. At least me and a buddy did in two different cars. We both fitted Tanabe Medalion Touring (dual) exhausts. Very happy with it.
AUS$1300 is about US$940 and the Q300 sells for about $600 in the US. Not sure why it's so expensive in Oz.

The Q300 is one of the quieter s2k exhausts I've experienced.

Your experience (and that of others) is what I based my decision to initially buy the Q300. So I don't doubt it but the others must be deafening! I suggest hearing protection. Drone between 3000 and 4000 rpm is fatigue and headache producing.
The Invidia Q300 looks great and sounds great outside the car for sure (the guys with Civics at the high school loved it!). But the best things about the Q300 were the ease of resale after a month on the car and the ease of removing and replacing it with the Tanabe Medalion Touring dual exhaust. Both are 4-piece systems and it took less less than an hour under the car for the swap.

I'm confused. I have the Q300 and I get ZERO drone....even at highway speeds. I'm also 99% of the time top down if that has anything to do with it. But anyway, my two cents: it's a great exhaust for the $600-$700 USD price range. I wouldn't trade it for anything else. Nice (quiet) throaty sound when cruising but it really screams when you take it to 9k. Also looks great. Fitment was 9/10. If you look at most cars with the exhaust it doesn't sit perfectly where the cutouts are on the rear bumper. We adjusted mine so it does and couldn't be happier.
