congrats, mine came in about a month ago and I it. I see you got the 3 piece EMS version as well. Your pics are way nicer than mine...
Those pics are from my blackberry torch, which TBH I'm surprised with their quality, pretty decent.

Don't J's dual exhaust all come in 3 pieces?

BTW, did you have rattling problem?
Check out the link and you will see some 2 peice versions, the 3 peice version was created so it would fit in a smaller box for EMS shipping verus slow boat.

I have herd mine rattling once maybe but no enough to investigate. I have been dealing with a broken bone in my foot so the s2k has not seen many miles since I installed it.

The rattle is from it hitting on the body of the car, i had the same problem on my greddy se and i put a piece of cardboard in between the car and the pipe it was hitting i know not the safest but it works and gets all of the noise to go away.

^Since it is past the 20th of the month,(thats J's cutoff date for the production of S/S exhaust that will be made next month) you would be looking at a 2 month lead time + transit time depending on what version you get. It will take another month for the 2 piece version to ship surface, the 3 piece EMS version will take 7-10 from Japan. No one stocks this exhaust in the US to my knowledge.

Short answer: If ordered today
2 piece standard version would arrive around the 1st to 2nd week of October.
3 piece EMS version would arrive in the 1st or 2nd the September.

if i read your update correct you didn't use jackstands?
if so....that's dangerous.....very very dangerous,

and silicone spray will make the exhaust rubbers slide right off.

Thanks for the detailed info. Sometimes I wish I'm not so impatient.

I used jackstands but they're just standing there doing nothing and act as the backup only to catch the car if any of the other jacks fail. The hydraulic jack lifts the rear and 2 x car jacks lifts the front. I practically did the installation this way. It is stable enough (and safe) for me to get underneath. Normally you let the car sits on the stands then release the jack, but I don't do this and instead I let the jack supports the car. At it's max height the jack's main support sits perfectly vertical hence very stable.

I don't have silicon spray. But the soapy water works rather well as well... the key to get pull them out is to apply a lot of movement while pulling them out. The rubber holding opposing hooks is the hardest period. You'll have to pry it off with a screwdriver and plenty of elbow grease (grunting/yelling will help speed up the process). These rubbers are mighty strong surprisingly. After a lot twisting and prying, they're still looking great.

The local distributor here in Aus JDMConcept keep some stock handy so I didn't have to wait at all!

nice exhaust.

for the rubber hangers, try silicone spray and a long piece of wood for leverage. takes 5 seconds to remove each one.
