what brand and size donut/crush gasket should I go with?

the opening on the js header and berk hfc is bigger, oem would restrict air flow

If you search, using the OEM donut gasket on aftermarket headers is pretty much the standard.

I dont see how the donut gasket would restrict air flow..

i have a j's and i used the OEM gasket, it fits around the outside of the header and the test pipe/cat then is angled so should direct seat when bolted together.
