OK, call me stupid, but when I purchased my J's intake, Yasu @ PPI told me that I did not have to oil the filter. He said that I could clean it with the K&N cleaning kit, but oiling was not necessary. wtf ??? Is this true? Seems kinda scary to me. I could not find anything posted about oiling, only cleaning.
