cant find much info on these so im wondering what you guys think. do i use stock rods, and everything or is there another j's product i need to make these work. do these need to be tuned or can i put them on and not worry. btw, i need an engine rebuild already so i may as well get a few extra ponies for my money rather than going back to stock. i know that raising compression gives you more power at higher rpm so will i lose my midrange and need a higher redline?

 

These are balanced JDM Honda pistons and I believe they are not availble anymore. If you want something similar, Spoon does sell them.

toda also makes a piston kit for the s2000 for 11.7:1 compression or would spoon be better.

Toda does not make pistons at 11.7:1 ratio. The ones they make are 12.5:1 as for minimum unless you run a thicker head gasket to lower the CR.

Spoon is less aggressive then Toda setup and Spoon only uses JDM OEM pistons balanced. If money is not an issue, Toda will be a better bet over spoon but Spoon will be a good alternative at a lower price.
