Default J's Racing Type S Kit

Hello,

Been looking at the J's Racing Type S Kit - really like the kid, especially the front bumper, sideskirts - not to keen on rear bumper though.

Front bumper has the intake duct, now say Im using the Spoon Air Feed (Snorkel), would it be viable to blank off this duct, for a smoother looking front bumper, as the air is being fed by other means?

Also, the rear bumper - only part of the Kit i dont like due to the ducts on either side, which I believe are to stop the bumper acting as A air brake? Was thinking about blanking these off and smoothing off, for a smoother looking bumper.

To me, the rear bumper just stands out from the rest, has anyone undertaken these modifications or altered the bumpers?

Cheers, Sam

What you are saying is that you want to adjust the rear bumper so it will loose all it's functionality where it was designed for because you like that look better?

It's your car and parts so you should do whatever you like with it but i don't think you get much approval around here by taking those actions to the J's rear bumper..

i personally think the whole kit is ugly, so it would take a lot of work. why don't you get a better looking rear bumper instead? IMO spoon and Js bumpers are horrible looking. who cares about function.

Did a photoshop of the front bumper, didnt look to bad without the vent, as air will be provided via another means. Rear bumper = I know its the functional part, but hate the look of it, standard bumper with diffuser looks much better after I saw a picture of one.

Clarkester009 - any more ideas /suggestions for bumpers?

Dont like the Spoon kit one bit, may be functional but damm its ugly!

Suggestions welcome
