Default J's or Toda? or Hytech?!

Hello s2ki,

I'm stuck between the three headers. Currently I am N/A but I do plan on supercharging in the near future. I was leaning towards the J's over the Toda Torquie-Kun for the longest time but would love some feedback on others that have experienced them N/A and supercharged. Also, Hytech has a supercharged spec header available now. Not sure of the gains compared to a J's or Toda supercharged f22..

Thanks,
Andrew

Well if you plan to supercharge in the future I would just save up for the hytech-supercharged version. Unless you want to purchase the j's or toda, then sell it when you get your supercharger.

Or you can get the J's replica header aka PLM.

You don't think a J's or Toda header would be efficient supercharged?

My logic is that the Toda and J's header were designed for NA motors. Now, Hytech has designed seperate headers for NA and FI motors. In my mind that would be the best "efficiency".

But I could be on a different planet and be absolutely wrong. I'm sure there are dynos floating around here with NA and FI setups with one of those headers.

Find a used Comptech one. They were 4-1 and made specifically for FI.

Yeah, I'm just curious what how much MORE power the hytech supercharged spec would make over a j's or toda in the end. If it is very minimal then at least I would take full advantage and use a j's of toda now until i go F/I.

Hytech...I'm not impressed with the way J's weld their header.

Go for a Supercharger spec header; Hytech or Comptech. Buying an N/A header for an F/I build, would be just silly.
