No implications. A header is just a header. You probably won't gain the max amount of power if you are not using it with the proper setup but not enough to make a difference that you can feel. Personally I don't believe that FI-spec headers needs to only be used for FI and vice versa. If a part works well, use it. I think I will go with J's Racing header or PLM header(J's replica).

so... if i'm not mistaken. the hytech performed not as good as it was to be expected?

on the other hand. i was thinking bout going back to PLM idea. i would try them again but i don't want it to be another miss instead of a hit. lol

The Hytech header is a great product but I don't know about all the hype. I've heard plenty of people that were disappointed with the numbers they got from their Hytechs.

and with all the moo-la you spend on some pipes sure doesn't add up to the gains on a dyno. after all these results, i think i may just buy an OEM header for 70 bucks, cut off the collector and weld a 3" pipe on it. and then see what the gains are like from there. ideas ideas lol
