Default JDM Password Intake?

Just was wondering if this was ever revised to fit properly without your hood sticking up or not closing properly? I searched and found some old threads 3+ years about it not fitting without hood cutting. Then read one that said it was revised to fit better? I am very interested in getting one for my car but will count it out if hood won't sit flush with it installed.

Thanks

I think it was. I have known a few people with this intake and the key is making sure install is right and you may have to adjust it some to get it just right. I have not personally owned one or installed one so take that with a grain of salt.
