Does anyone know where I can find the heat shield for the K&N system? I just bought my 03 and its not on there. Im getting terrible intake temps without it right now. This morning on my way to work it was 69 outside and at 70mph intake temps were 118 while sitting got up too 158! Any help would be great. Thanks

 

 

Local guy on craigslist has a stock system for sale. I may pick that up as well.

That doesn't look like a fipk v2. That looks like a earlier version that don't have a heat shield. Get a part number off of it to be sure

 

Well after calling k&n I've. Decided to save my $101 and build one with scrap sheet metal from work. Will post pictures when Im done.

 

I have one that I cannot fit. Where are you located. I only want the cost of shipping. It will not have the piece that clamps around the pipe as I am using it, but the rest you can have.
