Koni & Espeir problem

Default Koni & Espeir problem

ok..i just installed koni yellow and espeir, 18" volks with 245/40/18 rear tires in my car, rear tires are rubbing my quarter panel
and my techicant who installed it said koni yellow cant adjust the height
isnt koni can adjust the height??

i am a newbie
anyone can help me....?

koni yellows cannot adjust the height just the stiffness... plus those springs you have drop the car pretty low depending of they are the ASD one's or not plus the koni yellows provide 1/2 inch drop... plus for the rear tire your profile is off it should look more like 245/35/18

to solve the problem you can roll your fenders and relocate rear bumper tab

I can adjust my koni by 1/2 inch. There is a snap ring that can be expanded and moved to a lower slot thats cut into the shock. If you are rubbing in the way you describe then try the "bumper tab" relocation mod. search it up for more info.

do i need to remove it to adjust it??

Koni shocks have adjustable perches. You can adjust it to either stock shock height, or a 1/2 inch drop. It sounds like you need your fenders rolled. 18s + Lowered will definitely rub.
