I have had V3's on my car for years, couldn't be happier. Wonderfully unnecessary on the street, ridiculously good on the track. couldn't complain.
They're more of a dual duty coilover than a real track coilover actually. They're very streetable.

Maybe we're talking about the Club Sports? They retail for over 3K and if they are custom valved and possibly have different spring rates designed by Robispec I could see that getting close to the 4K mark.
The post title says V3.

4 grand is rediculious, he may have been just throwing annumber out there though. Like when you see a really fat person and your buddy says hey look at that guy, he must weigh a million pounds really loud and you have to ignore him and make it look like he is not your friend for about 30 minutes. Well either that or he is totally being had by some a hole seller someplace.

I have both tracked and street driven these coilovers for almost 10k miles. For the street they are unbeatable and for the track it was the best $1600 I spent on the car!!! Depending on your alignment and wheel setup it can be an amazing system! I had mine setup perfectly for the track as it would 4 wheel drift in the tight decreasing radius turns while giving me a great drive out of the turn! for the street I could make the car do what ever I wanted and the stepping out in the rear is very progressive and linear! Its an extremely comfortable setup for the street and if someone says its harsh they have put the wrong settings on the suspension!

^^ The spring rates on the Bilsteins are not as aggressive as the KW. And the Bilsteins adjust jounce & rebound simultaneously with one knob...the KWs can individually adjust jounce & rebound.

But the PSS9s are still very good for the money and what I would recommend if you aren't a serious autoxer or track junkie.
