They ride a little stiff but I have not adjusted them yet. Spring rates are 515 lb/in.

Why are you paying twice what everyone else does?

I don't know anything about the V3 on the S2K but let me share a quick KW story.

A year or so ago I was at a track event with some friends. One of my friends had a KW setup (V2 I think) on his Mazda 3. As I was trail breaking into the corner, the rear end snapped away from me, no chance for recovery.

I pulled out of the gravel and limped the car back to the pits. It turns out, the anti-roll bar endlink snapped off of the damper in the rear.

My friend wrote KW and told them about his issue, hoping that they would cover it under warranty. Not only did they do that, but they completely redesigned the endlink mount based on his input, and sent him not only the damper for the right rear, but full coils for both sides on rear of the car.

I was, and am still blown away at how serious KW took the problem, and how well they handled it. From that moment on, I vowed to only buy KW suspension if it was available, and plan on buying the V3 for the s2k when I can.

I looooove mine. I use them for track events and street driving. It's nice to drive there in comfort, drive the car FAST on the track, and drive home in comfort.

I can't say anything but good things about my V3s. The control and response is unbelievable for a coilover that's as comfortable as it is. The quality is also very very good. I plan on having these for a long ass time.

However, OP, why the F#$K would you pay $4000?!!!

Retail is like $2300 according to KW (for the V3 the last I checked). I wouldn't even pay retail....but you're willing to pay $1700 over retail?

I bought mine for $1600 (it was on the low side, I know)...but $1750-1900 is common.

KW V3 is great. I run them on my car and couldn't be happier with them. They are a little harsh for everyday, but on track, the car handles incredibly well. I was able to pick them up for $1700. I'm sure one of the vendors can help you pick these up at around that cost. Good Luck!

I have had V3's on my car for years, couldn't be happier. Wonderfully unnecessary on the street, ridiculously good on the track. couldn't complain.

Maybe we're talking about the Club Sports? They retail for over 3K and if they are custom valved and possibly have different spring rates designed by Robispec I could see that getting close to the 4K mark.
