Default Lamin-X?

Anyone used this product? I'm interested in it for my tailights (in the gunsmoke film, I don't want it too dark)
http://www.lamin-x.com/ProductDetails.asp?...&Show=TechSpecs

UPDATE on page 2 w/ pics--I would NOT recommend this product!

you may regret making this thread... as most people are not a fan of the tinted lights, but are very much fans of flaming.....

but for some input, i have heard they work decent? might be difficult to get smooth atleast if you end up not liking it, you can peel it off, versus the spray paint crap thats forever

I hate this mod on cars because it makes it harder to see when the car is braking.

To each its own but I personally think that if someone with tinted tail lights is rear-ended, he/she should bear some responsibility for the accident.

that depends on how dark the tint is done. mine are tinted and the brake lights are very visible.

Almost everytime I've seen tinted tails... they show up just fine under braking. Tinted headlights however are just plain stupid.

Regardless, I've had lamin-x on one of my previous rides and it worked great. Any bubbles left over from applying the film to the lights will just diffuse out over time. I've thought about getting lamin-x film for my tails, I really dislike the clear lenses...

I had that product in their lighter smoke color on my RSX... made the tails look really dark red and they lit up great when on... If you like it go for it.
