Lamin-X may have cracked my headlights
#22
i would either get them to pay for it, since it seems like they know it has been a problem on other cars, or just bring it into the dealership and they will probably replace it as manufacturer defect.

Hmm I have some Lamin X covers that I haven't installed yet, the smoked version. I really wanted to install them but now I am having second thoughts...although to be fair after 90K miles the covers are already a little scuffed/scratched/faded.

^faded, lightly scratched, and yellowing can all be buffed out rather easily.
Cracks though are more difficult and require the lens to be taken out and a resin applied to fill them...like those glass companies that fill chips.

i had laminx on my headlights... one headlight was pretty new, while the other was original from 2007...
the laminx RUINED the original one from '07... replaced the entire housing.
i won't be using laminx again unless it's on glass.
