when mine goes out, I'm thinking about getting an ultra light weight flywheel, oem disk and a ACT HD PP. The flywheel is 8.5 lbs, but I'm not sure if that is gonna be overkill or not

Here's the link to the ultra light weight flywheel I'm thinking about getting...

I am installing mine this week. I went with an AP1 flywheel which is considerably lighter than the stock AP2 flywheel. I did an oem disc, pilot and throwout bearing to prevent clutch buzz with an ACT HD Pressure Plate. I did alot of reading and heard good reviews on this setup. I am excited to get it installed this weekend. Good luck.
Bingo! Best bang for the buck set up.
I heard that leads to crank walk.

I had a new Fidanza flywheel with new OEM setup and it buzzed like a bitch.
