how r u beating these v8's with 4.77's , i have an ls2 c6 vette and i dont think you would come close , not hating bc i happen to like the s2k more then my vette anyways.

 

the Blue mustang with the 4.10s only beat me in that run because i had a pass and the top down. I have beat him sense. The yellow one just has bolt ons and runs a 14.0@99. The ls1 Ta just cant drive But most of the time I can beat cars in my class. Oh and about the C6. well no shit. that is what 415hp? Cmon now, the S is quick for its class. But not C6 fast

Def go 4.77s I dont care what anyone says, It makes the S faster!! i beat up on bolt on S2ks all the time

I just went to an open dyno day i payed 65 bucks for 4 pulls. My car is an 03 completely stock with 93000 miles on it and i wanted to make sure the engine ws running great. Here is a link of how it went.

Final numbers
3rd gear: 203.6HP/144ft lbs
4rth gear: 209.6/ 145.8ft lbs.

I was running very rich when vtec hit, AFR's were running into the low 10's which is really rich, I'm thinking I can get alot more juice outta of it if I lean it out a little bit and pull down my vtec closer to 5k, here is my youtube link.

im getting header, vafc, and 4.77s and i think i should be doing pretty well. hopeing to get another 30 we shall see ill keep you guys updated

 

I noticed a big differnece with my ap1 when I added gears. I am going turbo and going to keep them to see how it goes. I raced a BMW Z4 si and beat that, there pretty fast cars. Unless you drive a bunch of HWY you will like the car much more.

 

just paid for my built diff from S2kpuddydad and it will be here in 3 days (wed.). i will be putting it in on friday night, i'm gonna snap some pics of the install and post some feedback on what i think of the 4.77's compared to stock....

 

well of course thats gonna be a fat difference haha from 4.1 to 4.77 im going to buy mine from puddymod once i sell my hardtop if i decide to if not ill wait couple months to buy his differntial with 4.44 gears
