Default Magical Air Filter?!

Anyone know where I can get one of these "Honda authorized K&N cold air filter system which adds five horsepower and results in 36 mpg on highway?" It says so in the ad so it must be true! Anyways, not a bad looking low mileage AP1 if someone is interested.

I don't about the HP, but you can get 36 mpg real easy. Just get on the highway like the ad says to do and set your cruise control at 40 mph, see how easy that was.

Heck, I'd be happy with 26 mpg. I can't seem to get over 21-22 mpg no matter how I drive it, less if I drive it like I want to. The K & N hp gain is probably just hype.

It helps to drive down hill. Get someone to tow you up hill.
I got 34.6 once on a lazy 230 mile long drive on scenic roads in OR. I don't think we went over 50 mph because we were taking in the scenery.

K&N claims that increase.

As for "Honda authorized" there were dealers putting things like superchargers on early cars and covering them under new-car warranties.

I just got 27mpg last weekend in my K&N equipped S2000 -- surprised me as I only count on 25. Cruise control between 70 and 80 mph.

I once got 33mpg on a roadtrip from Vegas to Reno in my AEM intake equipped AP1.
We werent driving that easy, but tops were up (it was almost 110 degrees) and I was drafting the car in front of me.
