I'm just wondering what to do in order to be able to open my trunk!
The MG trunk has NO keyhole.
Am I not going to be able to open my trunk with the button inside my car?
The only way I can think of opening the trunk now is with the alarm, but my alarm only unlocks the doors, not the trunk.
Keyhole in OEM trunk. Rod connects to latch, which opens trunk (duh).
MG trunk. No keyhole, no bracket to hold key cylinder.

the button inside the car and the remote will still work. no lock doesn't mean no latch mechanism. they are 2 separate pieces.
Ok, cool. I just wanted to make sure, since my alarm fob or oem fob does NOT open the trunk.
Also, I had a friend watch the keyhole mechanism while I pressed the button inside the car. He saw it move, but I guess the button engages the latch, causing the keyhole mechanism to move.
