This isn't abnormal, but if you're worried just make sure the coolant system is bled well. Air bubbles from the rad installation can prevent the temperature sensors from reading coolant temp adequately... resulting in a lower than actual temp being shown and not engaging cooling fans when needed.

Sounds like you have a bubble in the system. My Koyo blows hot air while idling.
