Default Modding My 2005

I am planning on purchasing a 2005 NFR s2000. I sold a MY02 about 2 years ago which I loved to death and have been itching to buy another one ever since. I have read many posts regarding modifications and searched individually on the items below.

I would like to make a few simple mods to improve the performance of the car.

My hypothetical mod list is the folowing:

1. K & N FPIK
2. Berk High Flow Cat
3. Borla Exhaust

Will this Yield 10hp?

Just looking for a little edge. Anyone have a before and after Dyno with similar mods? Specifically the borla?

Would the stock tips be able to fit on the Borla mufflers? Where there reports of the borla losing power?

skip the exhaust and you'll probably be at or close to 10hp.

How about the Borla? Anyone dyno it? Is it possible to put stock tips on an aftermarket exhaust?

If you want a stock looking exhaust get either a mugen or fujitsubo. They both sound awesome and look nearly stock. Although they don't make much power. If power is what your looking for your going to need a 63 or 70mm single exhaust.

And skip the high flow cat and just get a test pipe. Half the cost, half the weight, and more power. I gained 7whp with mine on a stock car. Back to back dynos too.

Those mods will most likely add your wanted horsepower.

However, if they do not, you can always buy an AFC Neo and tune it

regardless of hp gains, those mods are gonna help all through the rev range, which is pretty important on these cars - chasing peak hp is a hard game.
