Default Modifry dash mount bracket not flush?

Hi,
I just installed the modifry dash mount bracker, and after snapping the dash bezel back in, there is a significant gap between the bezel and the dash...seems like the bracket is causing the gap. Is it suppose to be super flush? In other words, it is suppose to sit as if the bracket is not even there?

Hey I can tell you that it's not as flush as stock. I wasn't aware of this until installation. I think it's a matter of how much dash you trimmed. I can take a picture for you of my dash tomorrow. I didn't install mine so I cannot say with confidence on how flush it should/shouldn't be.

Definitely pissed I ever installed that thing. Had to cut the dash inside to make it sit more flush. Used a razor but slipped off when cutting it as it was not easy with the knife I was using at all and made a couple slits in my dash. Still doesn't sit flush at all.
Oh well. Does the job but wish I never tried it.

It's not as flush as stock, but I haven't noticed it since installed it. You can't tell from the driver's position. Even as a passenger, you'd have to stare at it to notice. Personally, I love the thing.

I am very pleased with my modifry bracket, i got the one that attaches to the radio area. i would recommend this one then the one that attaches to the dash. Btw i installed mine over 2 years ago, it is a very good product, the mount doesnt make any rattle or sound.

here are a few pics:

Yeah but just sits sorta flush but you cant really notice it. I dont like the one next to the radio bc you have to look lower and more right meaning if you have to turn your head away from driving. At least this is a convenient place to have a phone/gps

I have to admit...this product was advertised as something that is easy to install, and looking stock.

It's hard, with high risk of messing up your dash, and it looks crappy with the huge gap.

just for info. the one that installs next to the radio is not a modifry device.

does anyone have pictures of the gap?
