I have to admit...this product was advertised as something that is easy to install, and looking stock.
It's hard, with high risk of messing up your dash, and it looks crappy with the huge gap.

Having a very sharp blade comes in handy.
I don't even notice the gap. It's not that difficult to trim the dash and to trim it so that it's flush once installed.
Use a sharp knife or a Dremel with a suitable tip.
It's a Panavise.

just for info. the one that installs next to the radio is not a modifry device.

yeah, there's a tiny ~1/2mm gap. it's not big, but it's there. and that's if you trim the dash perfectly (which i did.) i have a feeling that those people who are reporting "huge" gaps did not do a good job of trimming the dash properly.
my biggest gripe with this is that the material is too thin. the plate flexes too much, so you can't just push the buttons on whatever you're mounting. you have to basically squeeze using your index and thumb, holding on to the back.
but so far, i have not found a better alternative.

yeah just check out modifry.com and youll be able to see which one you have as they show both

yeah, it's pretty wimpy. but like i said, i've not seen anything else as an alternative. (i also use the panavise one they sell for the radio to mount something else, which is actually much stronger. need both locations though.) i just use it to mount my g2x dash, so luckily i don't have to push the buttons often.
