doesn't stop vtec from engaging but tells you the highest RPM you hit

 

can you not make it beep still? or wire up to a relay and a seat electrocution device?

yea, doesn't stop VTEC from engaging, but you can set it up like me and have that little LOUD ass speaker right behind the driver's head and it will go off continuously above whatever RPM you choose.

so the logical solution is to let off the gas and let the rev's fall back down to below your preset. Dom you do have a point, grease monkeys may not be able to figure that one out.

But for someone who is no used to it, it scares the cr@p out of them when my beeper goes off, they think my car is braeking

 

Where did you mount the little beeper?

 

Mine is up under the passenger footwell by the convertible top module.

 

extend it to driver footwell if you have loud exhaust......

 

It is above the pedals 99% of the time, but I relocate it to the roll hoop area for shits and giggles when anyone other than myself drives my car.
