Modifry Redline Shift Beeper
I just got mine in the mail and will try to install it this week ... I keep bouncing off the rev limiter
when getting onto the highway. The S2K is so smooth on acceleration it's amazing.
For MY07 ... instructions give two options: behind passenger dash panel and next to the ECU behind driver foot well panel. Which is a better location - easier install?
If the driver side, understand that to take off the footwell panel, you have to take off the sill first ... right? Does that just pull up?
If the passenger panel, what's the best way to take that off ... worried about breaking those clips. Can you easily hit it from behind?
And, where should I put the beeper ... if I put it behind the panel will it be loud enough. Thought about putting it behind the seat ... but, will that be to loud?
I was planning on setting it at 8100 with 200 increments ... sound about right?

the beeper is loud. you'll scare passengers with it. mine's taped to a panel above the passenger foot. i can still hear it with my helmet.
just pull up hard on the door sills. they'll pop off from their clips.

Drove 20 miles to get the missing parts. (Having to do that was what frustrated me earlier.)
Install was really easy ... took about 20 minutes to do everything ... and, pretty idiot proof.
The beeper was loud when I initially tested it. But, it's pretty muffled after being put behind the kick panel. Next time I'm in town, I'll pickup some wire and follow the advice of putting it behind the driver seat.
But, it works really well ... pretty pleased with the product.
