Driving school is always a good option for the time being. The early S's can be very unforgiving if pushed towards the limits even in stock configuration. Just something you may want to consider before adding a lot of power.

, if your planning on going force induction but are waiting, there's no real cost effective gains on na unless your commiting to it. Just invest in tracktimes and enjoy, i'm sure you'll find something after a couple track events or just overtime that you want to change about the car. however, if your sold on doing somethign engine wise maybe consider a new fly wheel or t1r pulley set, not sure if there good for FI though,

4.77 FD is best bang for your buck then header, test pipe, exhaust (70mm) and a VAFC + tune.

The gears change the character of the car. More sprinter than cruiser.

I like your thinking behind the HKS exhaust but i have heard that it not only doesn't gain anything but can lose also, is this true?

I'd get gears but hopefully soon i will DD my S and that wouldn't be fun cruising at such a high rpm. If im thinking correctly that would happen.

Also anyone know of any tracks in orlando? not drag strips

No, there is an HKS Hi-Power dual exhaust that is a 60mm (same as stock) people just talk out their @ss and say it loses power, when they never did a real before and after dyno. There have been people that have gained power with it.

There is a new HKS 75mm single, and trust me, that will not lose power!

the HKS single is legittttt... i met a guy who just put that on his car and an intake.. made 205 on the dyno.. noone had done numbers on it.. so he was the first. you can see his video on you tube. ill try and find it and post it for you.

it will be my next exhaust when i want to go a lilttle quieter... im runny the megan drift spec.. its cheap and great sounding.. but very loud!

if you want 400+ hp then i wouldnt get gears. youll be shifting to often. also you can get a greddy tic single which will also be fine for boost, i plan to keep mine for awhile and just an electric cut out to switch between exhaust and open dump. tic is a great exhaust. personally i think it sounds better then the hks.

ive also had the t1r 70mm v3 single and the greddy tic takes the cake IMO
