There are questions that I never got an absolute answers from. I've read countless threads about them but there are always arguments to both sides, but I do think these two questions should result in an answer that is a FACT, but not a subjective opinion.

1. Is HKS Exhaust ONLY for the sound and does it really make you lose power?


2. Does 70mm Exhaust NOT ONLY give more gains to F/I, BUT ALSO N/A than 63mm Exhaust? Basically in every way 70mm is better? I'm strictly speaking in terms of performance here, no sound comparison or whatsoever.

A very clear knowledgeable answer to those two questions would be very appreciated.

For N/A applications, a 70mm single exhaust will perform better than a 63mm. LMK if you want the "scientific" explanation.

Most people that dyno the HKS loose power. At best you will make no power.

Edit: doesn't loose power.

My .02 Is that you may gain power with the 70mm but consider what happens to your TQ?

Show me a dyno sheet that shows the power loss.
I've search a lot before buying this exhaust, and I knew that there was a possibility of losing a few HP.
But I couldn't find a single dyno sheet that proves it.

No, really, I'm curious myself so if you do happen to find one, please share w/ us.

I've never seen 1 dyno proving that the hks loses power. I should be getting this exhaust in the next couple weeks and have before and after dynos soon to put the myth to rest.
