The Comptech intake is a good all arounder. I had AEM, Comptech, Password JDM, Mugen replica, and now an authentic mugen. It really depends on what you like. They all make about the same hp no matter what anyone says.

I had a Fujita before the Comptech, butt dyno says I got a bit more power with the comptech. Get the V2 lid if you can, I've seen V1 lids crack.

The sound from the comptech is freaking nice, with the throttle > 40% you get great rumble and VTEC at WOT is great.

Edit: Oh if you have an aftermarket radiator, stock fan shroud will not fit with the intake. Also some strut bars will not clear the intake box, my Cusco one didn't.

Mine was the standard aluminum one, the problem is the strut bar wasn't centered around the shock hole but was off center towards the front of the car. The bracket didn't clear the back of the intake box.

A good one or the price is def. either the Comptech which I would prefer because I think it's the cleanest looking one in the price range or the FIPK like the picture above with the AUTCooling plate for increased air flow, both sound amazing and both show some of the highest gains fr these type of intakes. These are rather loud, but I like it, cold air intakes tend to be less noisey. If your willing to spend alot of money (around 650+) u can get a really beautiful one which just makes your car look one of a kind, beautiful. There's a few missing on this page like te Gruppe M intake but that goes for like 1,200 used.

If your looking to stay in a moderate price range, I would def. go with the comptech!
