only intake i'll consider is the k&n fipk. not a fan of the big empty engine bay and also you will never have to worry about hydrolocking your engine.

Couple things to concider...

Will an intake make your driving experience much better?... unlikely. You get a bit better sound, thats about it.

Resale value?... depreciates.

Visual? .. unless you spend a bunch, they look cheap and empty out the engine bay.

Make your decision wisely. The only intake I would concider is the K&N... most of the CAI's looks uber cheap and ghetto. Dont expect to feel any actual gains. Mod the factory air box and get a snorkle of cooling plate that delivers air to the stock box. Spend your money on other mods

K&N FIPK. Relatively cheap and sounds mean.

amen brother. i been preaching this to everyone who is thinking of changing their intake. this is by far the cheapest way to go and i've had first hand experience with the v2 which did not make noticable difference between this setup.

if you do go this route, do NOT cut the wall or take out the elbow arm like i did before. i noticed when i did so it didn't feel as strong as it did with the wall+ elbow. so yeh i had to buy a whole new stock airbox lol. all u do is take the inlet from the box and place the snorkel right there. that is it. very very effective in all the rpm range. and of course you wopn't see gains on a dyno blah blah blah. that's why i did it on a road test and it does help A LOT. especially from dead stop to 130+mph. go race some other n/a s2k's with an intake mod different from this set up. and you will quickly see how effective this set up really is. lol

i didn't feel diddly squat with v2. only noticeable gains was the sound.
