So i needed some help im from the bay area, the city and wanted to know what type and kind of intake should i buy? Cold Air? People said there was a problem when it rains? Short ram!? Help please?
It's your call to make whether or not the risk of hydrolock is an issue. We get far more rain down here that you do over there and I run a Fujita. Gains aren't even worth considering for these.

Have you bothered to look at any of the countless former threads on intakes?

Get the comptech icebox. Its pretty nice looking with the carbon fiber lid and sounds really aggressive at high rpms.

I like My K&N intake as well.
It cleans up the engine bay nicely.
I had an exhaust before I got the intake so I didnt hear any difference between that and stock.

for the affordable short ram intakes I would suggest: K&N fipk, comptech icebox intake

for the affordable cold air intake I would suggest: aem v2, fujita

for the most expensive I would suggest: Password intake

Personally I would get the air duct combined with stock intake for better air flow and performance or get password intake. Stock intake is ur friend believe it..

Right now I have the K&N fipk for $200 and it sounds like a rawr racing track car and it altered the noise of my t1R exhaust note. I would try out the stock intake with duct another time but air duct costs $300 at least or you can make ur own for 50 bux.
