OEM box w/ air scoop.

Spend your money elsewhere.

Someone should just do an intake test(with tuning), so we can be done with these threads.

amen brother. i been preaching this to everyone who is thinking of changing their intake. this is by far the cheapest way to go and i've had first hand experience with the v2 which did not make noticable difference between this setup.

if you do go this route, do NOT cut the wall or take out the elbow arm like i did before. i noticed when i did so it didn't feel as strong as it did with the wall+ elbow. so yeh i had to buy a whole new stock airbox lol. all u do is take the inlet from the box and place the snorkel right there. that is it. very very effective in all the rpm range. and of course you wopn't see gains on a dyno blah blah blah. that's why i did it on a road test and it does help A LOT. especially from dead stop to 130+mph. go race some other n/a s2k's with an intake mod different from this set up. and you will quickly see how effective this set up really is. lol

i didn't feel diddly squat with v2. only noticeable gains was the sound.
lets see some pictures.

Get the comptech icebox. Its pretty nice looking with the carbon fiber lid and sounds really aggressive at high rpms.

it's2clean- pictures? all u do is rip out the inlet from the stock air box and put the snorkel in it's place. if i showed u pix of my set up, you would be saying "eeeeuuu". lol... my snorkel has been through a lot of abuse. i ran over a big fat tire this past summer when i was on a road trip back to home and the tire that i ran over cracked the sides of my snorkel. i litarrly just put a band aid on it which was duct tape to seal it properly again. lmao. hey it still works good to. and just to make sure of that i used a leaf blower to see if it still had that same ram air effect and to my suprise it did! so all is good.

cbrdream- yeh that's clean bro. if i were to change intakes i would def. go this route. but for now i just can't justify spending that much just for blings when a snorkel + stockbox works wonders. maybe if the comptech pulls just as good as a stock box+ snorkel then yeh i'd def. go this route w/o a doubt. but like i said i ain't spending money just to test it out and found out that it may or may not be as effective as said intake.

Also make your decision on where you live, if you live in a flood prone zone, opt for a short ram or scoop style intake, if u never saw a flood go cold air
