yea you're right, best results go with 6k they're very blue but dont lack in the brightness area... thats what I did pm me if you need a link to a good deal.
no he is not right, the 00 is not brighter. the 2005's bulbs just probably havent fully color shifted. the 00 has had plenty of time to colorshift therefore being a little bit more white than a newer bulb. it just takes time.

and yes the 6000k DOES lack in brightness. the lumens are less and the only reason why you think its just as bright is because the color is bright. it does not light up the road as much as anything between 4100-4600k.

I will say that a buddy of mine put 10K bulbs in his S and while parked next to mine not only did they look cooler, they seemed much brighter than my stock bulbs. Shortly thereafter, I put a set in mine and they absolutely seem to report more light back to me at night. It just lights up reflectors and signs much better while going on down the road.

These bulbs cost like $75 worth it.

My two cents.

Yeah 10k is definitely a good bit dimmer than stock bulbs no matter what it seems like to you.

optical illusion. 4300k comes on cars from the factory for a reason.

5k actually looks really nice. white and not really any less noticeable output.

it is somewhat noticeable but its still a nice tradeoff
