New owner - guidance with mods
I bought my car with the same intentions, forced induction. I replaced the fuel pump, map sensor, injectors and new aftermarket computer. Tuned it. Car stills needs upgraded clutch and then I will be ready to look at forced induction options.
Track like? Drag strip?
Or...road course? For HPDE? Or time attack?
The approach would be completely different depending on scenario.
Either way, its not going to be reliable or cheap at that power level.
The driveline will be at the cusp of overheating. So HPDE would need the most supporting mods for that.
Drag racing would require supporting mods for the driveline too...but in different ways.
Time attack just requires 1 to 3 laps. So this is where you can push the envelope on reliability. But upkeep to stay consistent and competitive is expensive.
Its not any cheaper than a C7 unless you're DIY'ing everything.....
