Default nitrous and clutches

Hi everyone, im gonna start with saying that im not new to nitrous at all. my question is what kind of shot are people running on a stock F22 and i mean bome stock.

also has anyone ever tuned with nitrous and a VAFC? or is that a bad idea?

lastly i understand that the early ap1's have an easy time making drivetrain soup. if i plan on running say....a 50-75 shot direct port is it needed to upgrade the coutch in these? i really want to avoid that and im willing to run a lower shot to do so.

heres my idea for my kit.

NOS powershot solenoids
NOS bottle
purge kit (the cheaper the better)
lower heat range NGK's
NOS Foggers...maybe shark nozzles as they take all different brands of jets

the last question is where to mount the bottle and how many pould bottle are you guys using...5...10???? 2.5??

Be sure to run a wet setup and add fuel via a piggy back (VAFC, DTEC, ETC) and you should be fine. Rumor is the stock clutch is good up to 300hp which you should be under.

Don't fear Nitrous Oxide, learn the safe way to play and you will get many pocket draining boosts from it!! Nitrous is expensive....Unless you are a dentis!

50 shots wet shot should be fine for stock motor, you just have to realize the fine line between a faster ET and 50 pieces of metalallic salad is the fine tuning.

let's step back a little and talk about n2o, most of the cheap/ancient kit out there are great way to buy stuff cheap(200-300 for whoel thing), but what do you really want to do with the kit is that you need to fab it/set it up so it will only spray in the perfect throttle and RPM. it's pointless to spray n20 when you are pulling out the garage door with 15 percent throttle or during shifts.

one of the most impressive set up i saw was a hidden kit, the wet nozzle was drilled from the underside of the intake mani, all the line are made to match oem looks. the throttle sensor was fab to mount not from in the plain sight of TB in the bay but under the dash from the gas pedal. The tank was 2 sleeky pete under passgenger seats.

purge kit is good to have but i would really like to get the warmer and solenoid

good luck

the purge kit is to bled the air out of the lines so you get a clean shot rather than getting lots of fuel with air then all of a sudden nitrous and fuel.

a direct port kit is wet, i thought i mentioned that but i see i didnt...my bad.

as for fuel how are you all tapping into a fuel source? are you doing it at the fuel return or is there a better palce to get into the fiel system, lik with a nice little fitting or soemthing?

I'm currently running a 75 shot direct port, but will be bumping it to 125 shot very soon via AEM EMS. At the 75 shot the stock ECU is doing everything and the car runs great. The best thing you can buy is the window switch, it allows you to program the nitrous when to kick in and when to shut off.

Is your fuel supply off the factory line?

Stock fuel pump?

No tuning at all? Colder plugs maybe? Adjustable fuel pressure regulator? Anything?

Did you purchase a specific Zex kit that came with everything needed?
