Default Nitrous

I am thinking about running some nitrous, what is a safe shot to use. WET or DRY shot. 50 or 75 shot. many people are telling me diferent things. i was wondering if there is anyone out there that has done this already and can help me as to what setup is safe to run. with a good tune of course. thanks

wet system is always better and if you want the max power use 75 shot but I would suggest you use 50

also get colder sparkplugs

i had a wet setup that i did on another car years ago. you will want to retard your timing a bit, you should also look into upgrading your clutch if it is stock... mine burned out pretty quick. make sure it is installed properly!

im sure the timing on a stock S isnt that agressive, 75 wet shot with 93 octane will be safe. anything higher will need the timing retarded.

dry shots are stupid. not only do you make more power with a wet setup but its also that much safer on the motor.

though zex does overrate their kits so a 55 shot is probably closer to a 35

zex increases fuel pressure also under nitrous shots, and yes, i calculated the 55HP jet setting and they would be around 40HP instead of 55HP. but thats ok for me
