Default Noob Question

i have k&n short air filter. recently got air coolant plate which is

sooo my friend told me that i can not use them in the same time. he says that cover gonna close all the air ways so air filter can not suck enough air? is that possible ? or am i okay ?

The link doesnt work. If you're referring to one of those radiator cooling plates (air guides), you'll be fine.

I have a K&N FIPK and a Mishimoto radiator plate (black one, just like in your link) and mine runs fine. There is an OEM 'cooling' plate already in front of the radiator (about 1/3 of the way down from the top) to ensure air gets to the radiator. There is plenty of other air that the intake will pull from, especially from the opening below by the horn. The diversion plate is really just a cosmetic thing.
