Default OBX Radiator Hose

Has anyone used cheap radiator hose like this? http://www.racingpartdepot.com/servl...or-Hose/Detail

I want to get a set of blue one, but not willing to drop over $100 for one.

OBX makes junk and I wouldn't trust something like the main hose for the radiator to them. Just stick with OEM or spend the money on the better hose.

i was going to do some samco ones but regardless if they are silicone they run the chance of leaking. i did some research and although their are people who run the hoses with no issues, there were alot of people who would experience leaks after time and than have to readjust. the isssue is them being silicone instead of rubber. stckl with oem and just keep them clean.

I wouldnt be so quick to judge... Ive run a few things including a turbo with over 80k with no problems... just bc something is cheap doesnt always mean it will fail. OBX may not be top of the line but its definatly not the worst

You've run an OBX turbo for 80k miles? On what? I am not saying everything has to be expensive to be good but I know OBX's quality and I wouldn't trust any of their parts on my car. You can do whatever you want.

And its still runs like a top... although there is some shaft play it is minimal... I bought this scion brand new in 06 and it was turbo shortly there after

i have obx radiator hoses, and they do leak, its a minor leak so ive put off replacing them for now, I would go with full blown or samco. seems like you get what you pay for with these

thanks for the input guys. i am going to spend more for samco or full blown. i do not mind spending more, but just wondering if they possibly come from the same factory except that samco has its name printed on it and hence charging a lot more. you know how most branded stuff goes. anyway, thanks guys!
