Default OEM headlight replacement suggestion needed

Guys,

My cousin just recently damaged his left side headlight-AP2 and in need of a replacement. He doesn't want to just replace one side. So he has been checking the ebay OEM style headlights. Are there any good ones out there or a vendor on this forum that sell good quality replica?

Do you have to slice wires for the halos? Is it plug and play?

Yes... there is no plug, since the original didn't have them.

Please don’t buy aftermarket headlights. At best they have bad projectors. They also scream “hey my car was in a wreck”. Find a decent set of used oem headlights.

The only wiring required is for the halo. Your existing plugs are used every where else.

As for quality, you move over your HID lights from your original headlights.

As for been wrecked comment?? Not true either, I have a porsche 997 turbo, and tons of porsche guys have swapped headlights and taillights for a more current look.

To each his own.

Different cars are different as are the quality of parts. For the s2000 every it is extremely common for cars that have been in a wreck and had the headlight damaged use cheap aftermarket lights. End of the day it’s your car and your money do what makes you happy. Personally I’d just buy a set of decent used oem headlights and call it a day.

No no no no no.

NO

Even from a safety perspective, aftermarket headlights and their beam patterns don't even past regulations. You end up with ineffective light output and nearly guarantee to blind oncoming driving.

NO

The Honda S2000 has the BEST HID projector on the market, why would you go away from it?
