IMO the only thing wrong with it would be the suspension?
Why would wheel size matter if they clear the brakes and the tires are the same outside diameter?

if you run a spare it should only be just for the drive home, then you should fix your regular tire. so why all the detail talk about running a spare??

No -- he said that the OEM wheels are 16" and he's currently running 17's.

IMO the only thing wrong with it would be the suspension? Just based on replacing a friend's flat accord wheel with a donut recently.

* 17" x 8.5" Alloy Wheel Silver; 10 Spoke for the 2004 Honda S2000 (Asahi manufacture)
* 16" x 6.5" Alloy Wheel Machined Face; 5 Spoke, Front for 2000 - 2003 Honda S2000 (Enkei manufacture)
* 17" x 7" Alloy Wheel Silver; 10 Spoke to fit the newer 2004 Honda S2000 models.
* 16" x 7.5" Alloy Wheel Machined Face; 5 Spoke, Rear on 2000 - 2003 Honda S2000 year of manufacture.
