Ohlins Question

Ohlins Question
I'm looking at the possibility of a set of Ohlins DFV and have a few questions that might stop me:
1) What is the ride height adjustment range? I would like to keep a stock ride height since I scrap enough as it is.
2) Does installation require any modification to the car? I'd rather not have to cut/trim anything on the car.
3) Does anyone with Ohlins DFV at near stock ride height still scrape their front mudflaps from moderate paced mid-corner bumps or is it adequately sprung to not have that happen? My 07 is just a bit undersprung in my opinion.
So I know this probably belongs in mods, but I'm hoping I get more responses here.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
Thanks

Well, the DFV rates are like 12k/10k, IIRC. So I doubt you'll scrape at stock height even through midcorner bumps.
The easiest solution for the scraping might be just to remove the little splash guard mudflaps. I don't have them on my car. IIRC, it's just 2 10MM bolts.
I don't scrape through even big mid corner bumps at bumpy tracks like Gingerman or Autobahn...even if I kinda bounce off track curbing. I have my KWs set with the factory damping settings and the car is lowered by around 1.75-2''.
I remember the height adjustment range on the DFV to be close to stock if you leave it in the max position.
You won't have to cut or mod anything. You MIGHT want to leave a little peice of out of the rear carpet section so you can manipulate the adjustments on the dampers.

Thanks for the info.
The mudflap itaelf isn't the issue but I just use it as a baseline since my buddy's stock 05 doesn't scrape. The car just feels a bit undersprung considering I'm only doing moderate pace backroad drives. I do admit I like the plush 07 ride around town though, hence the ohlins thoughts.
