Default The one mod that you didnt like?

I would like to know what was the one mod you guys did that you didnt like or that killed the everyday drivebility like agressive clutch or 4.77 gears or a very loud exhaust too stiff suspension on a short wheelbase car like this anything that made you think mannn i should have not done this.

A long time ago I bought an ebay catback exhaust. Wanted it mostly for looks and sound. Fit like crud, and it is not highway friendly. It droned bad and gave me a headache. I sold it here on the forum and got some of my money back. Will never buy another cheap exhaust.

Tanabe Medallion concept G catback exhaust...Droned to the point that it gave me headaches(and it's one of the quieter exhausts). Felt no power gain from it. Felt gains when I put in my CAI, TP and current exhaust(I put all these parts on individually to see if I can feel the gains).

Sounded bad ass at idle and start up. Got really tired of the round race style mufflers and wanted some oval type mufflers for the classier look.

Bought it off a friend for $500 and sold it back to him for $400 about 3 months later. The headaches were the selling point.

We traded cars(we both have S's, same year...same color, different mods) recently to go for a small drive a couple of weeks ago and after about 5-10 min of driving his car I was getting a headache and confirmed that I made the right decision letting the exhaust go.

Nope. Do your homework and you won't regret a mod.

Then again, someone elses preference and liking might be completely different than others. If there are some threads of people saying (whatever mod it is) is the best mod ever, its good quality and performs awesome. Doesnt mean you will like it, and will perform the same for your liking. Just a thought.

my espilir springs are slammed in the rear while the front is slightly higher. i like the look better than stock but i wish the rears sat a finger gap higher to make the car even.
