Default One-touch soft top mod ?

So I got curious today, while operating the top on my car. Has anyone done like a one-touch soft top mod similar to like a car with a sunroof in which you just touch the button once instead of holding the button down and it closes ?

the more popular top down mod is wiring it so it doesn't require the parking brake to be set for operation...

Really would not be difficult, I'm sure the S has some type of switch to know when the top is fully retracted.

We do this stuff with PLC's, all you would need is a relay that latches itself on using itself. Then have the switch that detects if the top is all the way down or not open the connection.

For those that understand PLC's

R - NO Roof Switch
S - NC stop sensor (I would think we have one? or easily installed)
MOT contact - Relay contact that latches/bypasses the Roof switch
MOT - relay runs motor

*edited* to clean up diagram a bit

i did the opposite, pulled the speed sensor wire so i can put the top up while still moving but the e brake still needs to be pulled, just one click will do...its enough to engage the switch but not the actual brake

The only problem is that you will not be able to stop the top when it is going down. It is either open or close that's it. You could use the e-brake being off to stop the top but it is a ground switch. And just putting the e-brake down without having it connected to the relay will cause the top to go down as soon as the e-brake is back on.
