Default Opinions on the invidia q300

I am really considering purchasing this exhaust pretty soon but just wanted to get some opinions on it. I just want something that sounds good and doesn't drone a lot. I know the invidia n1 is supposed to drone a lot and is really loud from what I have read. I hear the q300 is supposed to be the quieter of the two. I have done a lot of research and listened to a lot of videos on you tube. The q300 sounds awesome in clips but you never know until you hear it in person. I am going to have the stock cat and header on still which is supposed to also make it not as loud and sound very nice according to what I've read. If anyone has this exhaust I would love to hear your opinions before I spend $600 dollars!! Also I daily drive my car which is another reason why I don't want something really loud.

Thank you in advance!

I currently have the q300 dual with a testpipe and I love it. It's a little louder than I thought it would be but It's bearable and it sounds like a beast at wot! I get compliments all the time on the way it sounds so that's a plus.

That's awesome! Did you always have a test pipe? Just wondering how it sounded with the stock cat and header since that's what I will be running

I have stock cat and header, with a PWD JDM intake. It was a little louder than I thought but not even close to being unbearable; I love it. I have zero drone on the highway at cruising speeds; pretty tame till you bang on it.

Thats exactly what i want. Im really excited to get this exhaust in and on my car. I appercaite the help! Definately has made this decision a lot easier. Just excited to actually have some sound to my car. I love the stock exhaust dont get me wrong but its just way too quiet for me at least.

I've got the Q300 Dual, Berk 70mm Hi-Flow Cat, and PLM Header with Vortech S/C. It's def louder than I was expecting, but not terrible. I did end up replacing the Invidia resonator with a Vibrant Ultra Quiet 3" resonator and it sounds exactly how I wanted it to sound now.

That's awesome! I'm ordering mine tomorrow and hope it comes in next week! Are you keeping it paired with the stock cat and header? Also when you get yours on NYGPW08 can you let me know how you like it?

I like the looks of the N1 exhaust but love the sound of the Q300...

I've always had the tp so I couldn't do a back-to-back comparison of the exhaust with a cat.
